माँ की गोद में...हर हर गंगे

 नमस्ते….

Hey! Nice To Meet You

Hi, I’m Dev a professional Chef and local  food supporter with a career spanning 20 years.  I still stay in kitchen with same vigor as I started.

I live in Delhi, India (most diverse nations in the world)

Welcome to my culinary journey…

I first heard about the hotel industry from one of my colleague during my Tourism Studies.

I did not know even after admission in Culinary School, Chef are made after doing this course, there was just something different that nobody had done around.

Being a conservative Brahmin family, it was forbidden to eat even onion, garlic at home but when I first come to know that now there is to be a non- vegetarian too,So I was really scared, what would the family think.

When I touched the chicken first time next 2 days, I was cleaning my hands again and again with water and even could not eat my vegetarian food.

Later it slowly got used to it.

The biggest benefit of studying Food & Nutrition was that it was found out who should eat what, and makes it very easy to guide people.

Being A Chef is a way of living and not simply a job. It entails a lot of hard work, focus and details in everything that you do.

It has been my great pleasure that I have got the opportunity to work in smallest and biggest of places and in my country as well as abroad.

Stayed in this industry and got to eat such food and to see so much that I had never ever dreamed.

And I am sure a lot is yet to come.

I’m passionate about food and fitness and never want to settle for what I know. I want to create new culinary experiences for myself and those who enjoy my dishes.

Luke warm water, green tea, nuts, oats, banana, and lots of veggies are an important part of my daily diet.

Cooking, rambling, meditation, yoga,  learning and teaching something new are major part of my daily activities.

Why I feel so amazing to go to ‘Gurdwara Bangla Shahib’ is beyond my understanding, peace and restful sleep is already in life.

I love reading, going to the theater and watching a play is fascinating to me.

I try my best to convince you about food, nutrition and tourism as I know it right, now whether it is in our mother tongue or the most popular language in the world, English.

Hope you’ll enjoy my easy, on/off road but delicious restaurant style recipe & travel adventure.

 Say something about you too
